Another sign the apocalypse is NOT upon us.

March 18, 2007

This week’s sign that the apocalypse is not upon us comes from the sunflower state, Kansas. This link comes courtesy of Todd at Toddblog.net.

With this guy looking out for Christianity we are all safe. He wants to be the leader of the Christian movement in America. If you are a believer like me this will have you resting easy at night. No second coming with such a man at the helm of evangelicalism.

“Indeed, Johnston envisions himself becoming one of America’s foremost religious leaders.

“Guess what?” he asked his congregation after rattling off the names of evangelists such as Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson in a 2005 sermon. “Those men are getting old. Really old.

“See, God’s calling us to step up to the plate. And there are national Christian leaders all over this nation that are looking to First Family Church to do the job.”

People who are walking with God pay their bills. Mr. Jones and his church has some problems don’t they?

Looks like you and Mark Elrod are battling over whether the apocalypse is upon us or not. http://www.markaelrod.net/

He has 71 posts on why the apocalypse IS upon us (100% humorous though).

Matt, Thanks for the link. I’m kind of hungry now.

Royce, the entire article makes me want to go for a visit. With friends like these who needs enemies.
