Your Assistance

May 18, 2008

I wanted to get some feedback and ideas. First, what do you think of them and then I need a line of text to put with the two videos.

We are looking for a short tag to place in each one. Please share what you would say after watching these two videos. Keep in mind that the text will be up for a short period of time so they need to be concise.

The one that is chosen will receive a free short film and a book compliments of me. So start throwing out your ideas.

1: It’s not our message…technically…it belongs to Jesus.

1: Rediscover the Author of Faith: Jesus.

    2. What Not To Wear

    2. Meet One Who Cleans Up Your Messes.

    2. Messy People Welcomed, Commitment Expected.

I’m terrible at this kind of stuff. I would be calling you if I needed this help!

Awww, I’ll have to wait to see these when my internet at home gets hooked up. Apparently where I work, everyone wants to spend all day watching vids, so they’ve banned them.

    Take care, Darin.

    Feedback and Ideas:

    The Message is the Man…technically

What Do You Wear on Your Sleeve?

    Expect More From Your Clothing

    You Can Get Better Clothes

The Clothes DON’T Make The Man

    It’s Only Clothes…Get Real

How Do You Look Without All Those Nice Clothes?

    What’s Under Your Religious Clothes?

You May Not Look As Good As You Think.

Okay, these are interesting, but maybe I am just out of touch because, without context, I don’t really get them. In the first one, Jesus is marketing himself at a table in a retail space, but he won’t sign a Bible because he’s not the author? Is the guy overdressed because he’s wearing a suit or underdressed because he’s a mess? In what metaphor does Jesus wipe mud off our face and sneer at the same time? What (in your face) “better” does he expect?

    Don
